📋 Description

• Build and maintain production-quality web applications using React, TypeScript or modern JavaScript, Java, and Spring Boot • Independently own features from requirements and technical design through production deployment • Translate ambiguous product and business requirements into actionable technical solutions • Scope engineering projects, estimate delivery timelines, and manage work through completion • Evaluate technical options and make sound trade-offs involving scope, quality, performance, and delivery timelines • Collaborate directly with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to clarify requirements and keep delivery on track • Communicate risks, dependencies, blockers, and changes in scope clearly and proactively • Contribute to frontend and backend implementation with a strong emphasis on frontend development • Maintain and improve existing production web applications • Work autonomously in a fast-paced Agile engineering environment • Collaborate with UX Design and Marketing partners when required

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer • Strong professional experience with frontend development • Strong hands-on experience with React • Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript or modern JavaScript • Solid backend development experience with Java • Solid backend development experience with Spring Boot • Experience building and maintaining production-quality web applications • Proven ability to independently own features from design through production deployment • Experience breaking down ambiguous requirements into actionable technical solutions • Strong experience estimating engineering work and delivery timelines • Experience managing scope and making sound technical trade-offs • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience collaborating directly with Product Managers and Engineering Leads • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision • Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment • Previous experience as a Technical Lead or Lead Software Engineer preferred • Experience serving as technical owner for major engineering initiatives preferred • Experience developing SEO-focused or high-traffic consumer web applications preferred • Experience collaborating with UX Designers and Marketing teams preferred • Experience mentoring engineers or providing technical guidance preferred • Familiarity with web performance optimization, accessibility, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern software-development practices • Enterprise experience strongly preferred • Availability for regular collaboration with project partners • Expected commitment of 40 hours per week
