📋 Description

• Provide hands-on configuration and functional support across multiple Workday Financials domains, with particular depth in Financial Accounting • Own complex Workday Financials configurations from requirements and solution design through testing, deployment, and production validation • Support production issues, investigate defects, determine root causes, and deliver timely, sustainable resolutions • Perform ongoing configuration, enhancements, optimization, and process-improvement work • Translate Finance and Accounting business requirements into effective, scalable Workday solutions • Evaluate downstream impacts and dependencies before implementing configuration changes • Design solutions that support long-term platform health rather than temporary fixes • Shift across functional areas based on changing business priorities and workload • Partner directly with Finance, Accounting, and cross-functional business stakeholders • Support urgent production needs and longer-term strategic initiatives • Help reduce operational backlog and improve responsiveness to Finance stakeholders • Integrate quickly into an experienced Workday team

🎯 Requirements

• 8–10 years of hands-on Workday Financials experience • Deep, hands-on Workday Financial Accounting configuration expertise • Personal ownership of complex Financial Accounting configurations • Strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes within Workday • Hands-on experience with Workday Expenses and Workday Business Assets • Working experience with Workday Banking and Settlement • Expertise across multiple Workday Financials domains • Experience supporting production operations and project-based configuration work • Experience troubleshooting production defects and performing root-cause analysis • Experience taking configuration changes through solution design, testing, deployment, and production validation • Ability to explain personally owned configurations, issues, root causes, changes, testing, deployment, and resolutions • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment • Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking capabilities • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions • Experience delivering clean, sustainable solutions • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with Finance and Accounting stakeholders • Candidates must be located in approved LATAM sourcing countries • Availability during CST/EST-aligned U.S. business hours • Workday Financials, Financial Accounting, Expenses, Business Assets, and Banking and Settlement knowledge • Nice-to-have: Workday Accounting Center, Workday Prism, integrations, reporting, Orchestrations or other automation frameworks, Procurement, VNDLY, enterprise experience, and cross-functional initiative experience
