📋 Description
• Write original, human-authored text samples across subject domains • Follow a provided prompt after identifying the relevant domain expertise • Ensure submissions are entirely original and do not use AI tools, translation tools, or copied material • Provide written attestation of originality • Agree not to republish submitted content under project confidentiality terms • Contribute to LILT’s language data and AI evaluation initiatives • Support development of Terminal-Bench tasks for multilingual software challenges and language-model evaluation • Complete a GenAI assessment, onboarding, and profile setup to become eligible for Applied AI projects
🎯 Requirements
• Native-level fluency and strong writing skills in Somali • Demonstrable subject-matter expertise in one or more domains, such as law, business, biography, religion, philosophy, or poetry • Prior professional, academic, or published writing experience preferred • Strong command of style, tone, and structure appropriate to the selected domain • Ability to work independently from prompts with minimal creative guidance • Strict adherence to originality and confidentiality requirements • Reliable availability and commitment to on-time delivery • Most tasks require a minimum of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week • Must submit an updated CV in English • Must complete a GenAI assessment • Contractors cannot be engaged in regions subject to international embargoes or sanctions • Responsible for own tax obligations as a 1099 contractor
