• Oversee all human resources duties, company policies, budgets and volunteer relations. • Review and update guidebooks frequently. • Work directly with the CEO to develop and manage the organization’s culture. • Implementation and update workflows in our HR system. • Work closely with the CEO and Department Directors to create and update volunteer requirements and descriptions for all volunteer positions. • Oversee the recruiting and onboarding process. • Review annual evaluations of interns and volunteers. • Handle volunteer relations, mediate conflict, and review complaints. • Guide HR Assistant in the preparation, updates and recommendation of policies and procedures. • Review budget with CFO and evaluate cost of contract workers and reimbursements. • Ensure volunteers, interns, and contracted workers are fulfilling their roles appropriately. • Work closely with Department Directors and executives for disciplinary and termination processes. • Obtain guidance from an Attorney as needed. • Work with the Volunteer Coordinator to schedule and conduct training programs.
• Ability to communicate promptly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders. • Work with documentation requiring a high level of confidentiality. • PC skills utilizing Word and Excel. • Subject to background check.
