• Drive ad sales across print, digital, branded content, and podcast advertising opportunities • Own the full deal lifecycle- independently source leads, manage the pipeline, negotiate terms, and close deals from start to finish • Develop and maintain relationships with music labels, artists, managers, and brands within the music industry • Sell podcast sponsorships and host-read integrations across AFM’s audio properties, identifying the right fit between brands and programming • Generate new leads through proactive outreach, industry events, and leveraging your existing network • Secure long-term advertising partnerships across all AFM platforms • Sell and execute custom giveaway promotions and brand integrations • Work cross-functionally with editorial, marketing, and design teams to craft compelling advertising solutions • Stay ahead of industry trends and propose creative, out-of-the-box advertising ideas • Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals
• 5+ years of ad sales experience within the media or entertainment industry • Demonstrated experience owning deals end-to-end, from lead generation through close • Proven track record of selling to music labels, artists, and brand partners • Established network of music industry contacts (labels, managers, brands, etc.) • Experience selling across print, digital, and branded content platforms • Experience selling podcast advertising or audio sponsorships strongly preferred • Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals at market rates • Highly self-sufficient- comfortable identifying and pursuing your own opportunities autonomously • Creative thinker with the ability to pitch unique advertising solutions • Strong communication and presentation skills • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a passion for music and media.
