📋 Description

• Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, ensuring assigned deadlines are met. • Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP and company policies. • Maintain the general ledger and supporting balance sheet reconciliations for multiple venues. • Prepare and review account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies. • Analyze financial results and explain significant variances. • Prepare and reconcile event profit and loss (P&L) reports following each event, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper supporting documentation in partnership with operations. • Reconcile event financial results and investigate variances between event settlements and supporting documentation. • Partner with the operations team to ensure timely processing of artist settlement payments. • Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and cash activity to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. • Prepare information and supporting schedules for tax reporting processes. • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation and ensuring timely responses. • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes through automation, standardization, and continuous process improvement. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support operational initiatives. • Assist with ad hoc reporting, financial analysis, and special projects as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes • Experience preparing journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, and performing account reconciliations • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, and data analysis • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments • Experience with Oracle, Oracle Fusion, or similar ERP systems • Experience supporting accounting for multiple entities, locations, or business units preferred • CPA or progress toward CPA certification is a plus.
