• Follow sports news in Italy and around the world, and turn it into stories • Write and edit content in Italian and publish it through the CMS • Take ownership of the accuracy, timeliness and quality of your work • Source appropriate photos to accompany your stories • Coordinate with the wider Flashscore News network on coverage • Contribute ideas on content, angles and how the project can improve
• Strong knowledge of Italian sport — football, tennis, athletics and beyond — plus a good grasp of major international events • Complete fluency in Italian (C2 level or equivalent), both written and spoken • Excellent writing and communication skills • Experience working in a CMS (WordPress or similar) • Experience with standard office tools (MS Office, Google Workspace) • A reliable, self-organized way of working, with strong ownership of your own output • Good judgment and composure when things move fast around live sporting events • A genuine passion for sport and sports journalism
• A long-term freelance collaboration, working as a self-employed contractor • Coverage organized into shift slots (mainly evenings and weekends, around live sporting events) — you choose which slots to take on • An average workload of roughly 20 hours per week, depending on the slots you take • The freedom to take on other clients or projects alongside this collaboration • The chance to contribute to an ambitious, international sports news project reaching millions of readers worldwide
