📋 Description

• You are responsible for the networking of our customers' Kubernetes environments. • You develop and operate our CNI stack (focus on Cilium) for high-performance, latency-sensitive clusters. • You work closely with Kubernetes, infrastructure, and network teams to ensure a stable, secure platform. • You proactively detect and resolve network issues using observability and troubleshooting. • You evolve our network infrastructure to be scalable in line with the growth of Logicalis environments. • You collaborate with colleagues across data center, cloud, and hybrid environments.

🎯 Requirements

• Practical experience with Cilium CNI or comparable high-end CNIs (configuration, lifecycle, operations) • Deep knowledge of the eBPF datapath, policies, load balancing, and Cilium architecture • Solid knowledge of cloud networking: VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups/ACLs, NAT, ingress/egress • Experience designing multi-tenant network architectures with high security requirements • Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, ECMP, MTU/fragmentation, and overlay/underlay technologies (VXLAN, Geneve, ...) • Expertise in L3–L7 observability and complex troubleshooting • Experience with service mesh, multi-cluster networking, and Cluster Mesh • Fluent English (C1); fluent German is a plus
