📋 Description

• Perform surveys of design, manufacture, and in-service aspects of engineering assets for compliance with specified Codes, Standards, specifications, and procedures • Perform technical inspections and assessments against defined specifications and scope • Provide advice for service delivery within budget and contractual parameters • Produce reports, certificates, and documents in the agreed format • Review other employees’ work as requested • Discuss and present deliverables to internal and external clients at a senior level • Suggest alternative solutions where appropriate • Act as a point of contact to manage client and LRQA relationships • Make recommendations based on client feedback to improve service delivery and help build the business • Seek new opportunities with existing clients and identify new regional clients • Support Sales and Marketing activities • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards • Manage compliance with health and safety rules and legal requirements • Ensure employees are suitably trained and adequate resources are available to work safely

🎯 Requirements

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Production Engineering from a recognised University, or equivalent • Appropriate technical qualifications, including job-specific certifications • Qualification as ASME AI or IBR Competent Person, or both • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in QA/QC or inspection of pressure equipment, materials, and mechanical items • Competence in MS Office suite of software • English proficiency commensurate with the work, written and verbal • Effective interpersonal skills • Preferably a qualified member of a recognised professional body
