📋 Description
• Operate and drive heavy vehicles such as dump trucks, water trucks, and hydro vac trucks • Verifying the types of materials being transported and ensuring that they do not exceed weight restrictions • Load and unload cargo • Maintain accurate driver logs and vehicle inspections, pre and post trip • Keep truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order • Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel • Report all accidents, near misses and other hazards • Planning routes efficiently and delivering freight on time
🎯 Requirements
• High school diploma or GED • Minimum of 3 years of Class B Driving experience • A clean driving record • Applicable commercial driver’s license (Class B CDL) • Knowledge of federal and state laws that regulate the road freight transport industry
