📋 Description
• Advises General Counsel on relevant legal issues regarding Workers’ Compensation Operations. • Provides timely and suitable legal review and advice to assigned workers’ compensation recovery teams. • Ensures that possible adverse suits and legal matters towards clients and Company are handled appropriately. • Provides training in relevant legal issues as assigned to new and current analysts. • Communicates with Workers’ Compensation Analysts as needed with information and guidance regarding new court decisions, statutes, and regulations and the potential impact on file handling.
🎯 Requirements
• Juris Doctorate from an approved ABA law school. • License to practice law in any state. • California license a plus. • One or more years of workers’ compensation experience preferred. • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. • Very strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with teams and clients. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
