📋 Description

• Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services in accordance with general standards applicable to mental health professionals. • Provides individual and/or group counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, elderly, and families. • Manages caseload and other tasks to meet both qualitative and quantitative performance expectations. • Provides crisis assessment and intervention as needed. • Adheres to and upholds the ethical standards and guidelines of the profession. • Documents work in accordance with standards in the areas of diagnostic evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge procedures, and other consumer related activities. • Participates in education and other activities necessary to maintain competency in clinical work. • Actively participates in clinical team and staff meetings. • Support team members and participate in team activities to help build a high-performance team. • Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others.

🎯 Requirements

• Must be licensed in Maryland, preference is to have licenses in additional two states. • 2+ years post graduate clinical experience. • Clinical training must include instruction on chemical dependency, mental health, and brief therapy. • Must be able to provide accurate client assessment including diagnosis, level of risk, substance abuse, and create appropriate treatment plan. • Competent in crisis intervention. • Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in solution-focused, brief therapy in outpatient setting. • Use time to manage caseload and documentation effectively. • Meet productivity targets and quality management expectations. • Develop effective working relationships with peers within and across organizational lines. • Flexible; adjust well to new situations and changing priorities. • Knowledge of computers and Microsoft software products. • Knowledge of the standards and ethical principles for specific discipline.
