📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing solutions across UI and API layers • Build and maintain reusable test automation frameworks • Write, debug, review, and maintain automation code • Develop automated test scripts for UI workflows and API endpoints covering functional, regression, and performance testing • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines • Identify test coverage gaps and develop automation solutions • Validate platform changes by testing tickets from the Platform squad • Apply software engineering best practices, including version control, code quality, maintainability, and reusable automation design • Leverage AI-assisted tools and agent-based frameworks such as Claude or similar LLMs • Develop and refine AI-assisted testing approaches, prompting strategies, and agent skills • Support performance and load testing using JMeter, k6, Locust, or similar technologies • Analyze test results and performance data, identify root causes, and communicate findings to engineering and product stakeholders • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, QA Automation Architect, Engineering, QA, Product, and Platform teams • Share knowledge and provide technical guidance to QA engineers • Drive continuous improvement across testing processes, automation tooling, frameworks, and infrastructure • Report to the QA Automation Architect / QA Leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET), QA Automation, Test Automation Engineering, or a similar engineering role • Strong hands-on programming skills in at least one of: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java • Ability to write automation code from scratch, debug existing code, perform code reviews, and maintain scalable automation frameworks • Experience with UI automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar • Experience with API automation and testing, including REST APIs, JSON, Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools • Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems • Experience with or strong interest in AI tools and LLM-based agents for test creation and automation workflows • Familiarity with performance and load testing concepts and tools such as JMeter, k6, or Locust • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot issues and identify root causes • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced and evolving environment with shifting priorities • Experience building or contributing to AI agent workflows or prompt engineering for software testing is nice to have • Experience with cloud-based testing environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is nice to have • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, is nice to have • Experience working in an RPA or automation-focused technology environment is nice to have • Experience with additional programming languages, testing frameworks, or developer tooling is nice to have • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is nice to have
