📋 Description

• Invoice Booking: Accurately process supplier invoices in the ERP system, ensuring correct account coding, approval workflow, and timely posting. • Accounts Payable (AP): Manage payment cycles, monitor due dates, and execute payments on time. • Accounts Receivable (AR): Issue customer invoices promptly and in accordance with contracts, delivery notes, or service agreements. • Bank Account Management: Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor cash transactions. • General Ledger (G/L) Postings: Record all accounting entries related to AP, AR, bank transactions, and other recurring entries. • Support Month-End and Year-End Close: Contribute to timely month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and cut-off postings. • Participate in Finance Projects and Continuous Improvement: Support finance-related projects such as system upgrades, process automation, and internal control enhancements.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a comparable qualification. • Completed professional accounting certification (e.g., Bilanzbuchhalter/in, CPA) is a plus. • 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a similar operational finance role. • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, AR/AP processes, general ledger accounting, and financial closing procedures. • Familiarity with German GAAP (HGB). • Excellent Excel skills. • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., DATEV, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems). • Effective communication skills in German and English. • Hands-on attitude. • Openness to change and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
