📋 Description

• Manage operational procurement from purchase recommendations through goods receipt • Translate monthly sales and inventory plans into orders that are on time, complete, and meet agreed quality standards • Manage orders for finished goods, components, packaging, and point-of-sale materials • Lead manufacturers in Asia and Europe through order confirmation, production, pre-shipment quality inspection, and shipping documentation • Escalate delays at an early stage and develop solutions • Measure supplier performance using a scorecard covering on-time delivery, quality, and response times • Maintain bills of materials, specifications, and item master data • Coordinate advance payments and due dates with Finance • Ensure complete certificates and declarations of conformity • Continuously improve standards, controls, and automation for suppliers and components • Use tools and AI to increase efficiency • Report directly to the COO

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in operational procurement with manufacturers in Asia • Ideally, experience working for a consumer goods brand supplying retail partners • Meticulous approach and systematic error prevention before purchase orders are released • Confidently manage suppliers across time zones • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills • Fluent German and very good English • Ideally, experience with components in the beauty, cosmetics, or FMCG industries • Ideally, experience with ERP and/or demand and supply planning, including PO workflows and master data • Ideally, experience with pre-shipment inspections and/or quality control service providers
