📋 Description

• Serve as senior escalation point for complex customer and help desk issues, ensuring timely resolution • Lead infrastructure monitoring and report on health, traffic, performance, vulnerabilities, and trends to management • Evaluate and optimize existing systems to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability • Design and document workflows, system diagrams, and operational processes for IT and business alignment • Architect solutions balancing innovation with financial and resource constraints • Plan and implement enterprise network security, including firewall management, VPN configuration, host security, file permissions, and system integrity • Manage user lifecycle, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access control across systems • Provide technical guidance to help desk, NOC, and Engineering teams • Lead onboarding and IT orientation for new employees • Research, test, and implement new technologies • Quote and scope client hardware requirements and projects • Creatively solve problems within available financial resources

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in a related field or equivalent applicable work experience • 5+ years of progressive experience in network and systems administration, including help desk escalation and infrastructure support • Experience with Sophos, Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, and Unify firewalls • Expert knowledge of Active Directory, enterprise domain controllers, group policy management, Microsoft Azure, DNS, Microsoft integrations, Office 365, and hybrid cloud environments • Deep understanding of network security, firewalls, VPNs, routers, WAN/LAN, ACL, intrusion detection/prevention, and endpoint protection • Extensive experience with enterprise-scale software deployments, patch management, and automation frameworks • High proficiency in PC systems, enterprise applications, and IT management tools • Excellent communication skills for translating technical issues into business impact • Commitment to continuous learning and emerging technologies • Preferably knowledge of Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Exchange, Azure, Identity, RMM tools, backup tools, patching tools, network monitoring tools, and AI tools • Advantageous: SolArc experience, advanced PowerShell automation, IT certifications, and hospitality industry experience
