📋 Description
• Telecom Site Visits • Inventory of Existing Equipment: Identify and note all equipment present on site (radio equipment, batteries, power supplies, cabinets, etc.). Verify physical condition of equipment and appropriate labeling. • Compare equipment identified on site with current existing documentation for updates or discrepancies. • Perform technical measurements: Measure existing metal structures Measure technical rooms Measurements • Verify site safety and compliance: Ensure site access is safe and can be carried out safely Evaluate electrical, structural, or environmental risks. Verify grounding, surge protection, and fire protection systems • Support for updating site plans and diagrams: Correlate current physical configuration with technical documentation. Reporting any changes to existing documentation Taking relevant photos: Panoramic and detailed photos of equipment, racks, cabling, antennas, connections, and the general condition of the site Relevant photos for any defects, wear, or modifications. Relevant photos to help with report and project development • Preparation of site visit reports: Documentation of site observations in a standardized format. Transmission of measurement results and relevant photos. Transmission of conclusions and recommendations to the design, and/or maintenance and operations teams • Communication and coordination with other teams: Coordination with the design and/or maintenance and operations teams to clarify issues discovered. Continuous reporting to the project supervisor/coordinator.
🎯 Requirements
• Experience in telecommunications – minimum 1 year • English language skills – intermediate level • Ability to work at heights • Driving license – minimum 2 years • Availability to travel outside Romania for at least 6 consecutive weeks • Knowledge of German – an advantage
