Marais emphasizes quantified ROI, short payback periods, cross-portfolio playbooks for PE books, and embedding AI inside sales and operational workflows.

📋 Description

• Own client relationships and engagement outcomes end-to-end • Scope problems with a CEO or CFO • Frame the roadmap and stay involved as work ships • Lead PE-sponsor and portfolio-company engagements from discovery through deployment • Run client-facing communication (executive readouts, roadmaps, narratives) • Partner with engineering to ensure delivery integrity • Contribute to firm IP (methodology, qualification criteria, case studies)

🎯 Requirements

• 7–10 years in management/strategy consulting (Big 4 or comparable) • Ideally with PE or portfolio-operations exposure • A track record of shipped outcomes • Working fluency in the modern AI/data stack (Python, cloud — GCP/Azure, LLM APIs, Databricks-class platforms) • Sharp executive communication • Comfort with ambiguity, speed, and a small-firm bar where your name is on the work • Prior portfolio-company operating experience or AI program leadership (Nice to have) • Domain depth in telecom, healthcare, financial services, or B2B distribution (Nice to have)
