📋 Description

• Develop and implement Citrix infrastructure strategies for OnPrem and cloud environments • Design scalable, secure, and highly available VDI solutions • Monitor and optimize Citrix performance, latency, IOPS, and resource allocation • Implement traffic routing and load-balancing strategies • Oversee user migrations from OnPrem to DaaS • Manage hybrid VDI environments and integration between OnPrem and cloud infrastructure • Provide tier 2 and tier 3 support for critical Citrix issues • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions • Document fixes and maintain system knowledge • Apply patches and security updates and maintain access controls and RBAC • Lead Citrix infrastructure upgrades, Citrix Cloud migrations, and NetScaler technology refreshes • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery and resolve blockers

🎯 Requirements

• In-depth understanding of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix NetScaler, and Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM) • Strong knowledge of OnPrem and cloud-based (DaaS) Citrix solutions, including hybrid environment configurations • Expertise in traffic management, load balancing, resource optimization, and session management • Good understanding of public and private cloud environments, especially Azure, and their integration with Citrix DaaS • Knowledge of Hyper-V, VMware, cybersecurity principles, encryption, access control, security policies, GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, network protocols, VPN configurations, firewalls, WAN optimization, routing, traffic distribution, and latency management • Advanced troubleshooting, performance monitoring, resource management, and issue resolution skills within Citrix environments • Expertise in automation, PowerShell scripting, and Citrix deployment methodologies • Proficiency in managing Citrix policies and profiles and creating optimized machine catalogs and delivery groups • Strong project management skills and ability to manage migrations, upgrades, and BAU activities • Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills • 8+ years of experience managing Citrix environments, including design, deployment, and troubleshooting • Experience managing large-scale VDI environments with hundreds or thousands of users across multiple geographies • Proven track record managing Citrix Cloud migrations and hybrid Citrix deployments • Experience with public/private cloud platforms such as Azure and integrating them with Citrix DaaS • Familiarity with enterprise-scale storage, networking, and virtualization technologies • Experience leading Citrix infrastructure projects, technology refreshes, cloud migrations, and performance optimizations
