📋 Description

• Administer and manage the organization's Power BI environment, including Power BI Service and Power BI Report Server. • Configure and optimize server settings, data gateways, and data source connections for efficient data processing and distribution. • Create and manage user accounts, groups, and roles within the Power BI environment. • Enforce security policies to control access to reports, datasets, and dashboards. • Implement and enforce data governance best practices to maintain data quality, accuracy, and consistency across reports and dashboards. • Work with data owners to establish data lineage, definitions, and documentation. • Assist report developers in optimizing report performance, data modeling, and visualization design. • Publish reports and dashboards to appropriate workspaces, taking into consideration user access and usage requirements. • Monitor system health, performance, and usage patterns to identify potential issues and bottlenecks. • Troubleshoot technical problems, performance degradation, and data refresh failures. • Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies for Power BI reports, datasets, and configurations. • Collaborate with business users, report authors, and stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide technical support. • Conduct training sessions for users to promote self-service reporting and data exploration. • Keep up-to-date with Power BI updates, new features, and enhancements. • Document Power BI environment configurations, processes, and best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 7+ years of IT professional experience • 3+ years of proven experience as a Power BI Administrator or similar role with other BI technologies • Strong understanding of Power BI Service, Power BI Report Server, and related technologies. • Strong experience in working with PowerBI REST API and dataset scheduling and refresh orchestration • Proficiency in managing user access, security, and data governance in Power BI. • Experience with data modeling, transformation, and DAX . • Familiarity with data integration, ETL processes, and data connectors. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Microsoft Certified: Power BI Administrator) are a plus. • Bachelors/Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and good stake holder management skills • Strong Analytical thinking and ability to handle stakeholders. • Confident in decision making and the ability to explain processes or choices as needed. • Ability to multitask on multiple projects in various phases. • Agile and waterfall Project Methodology Knowledge
