• Maintain the Master Regulatory Tracker • Act as the Bank’s point of contact for HSA/CBUAE traffic • Prepare executive summaries, gap assessments, regulatory communications, and CBUAE submissions • Monitor and oversee implementation of regulatory guidelines • Refresh and maintain regulatory frameworks • Prepare BRC and Board presentations and coordinate with the Board Secretariat • Compile Monthly Exception Reporting • Perform Business Impact Analysis/Business Continuity Management and annual divisional systems access reviews • Recommend controls to mitigate non-compliance • Conduct Risk Control Self-Assessment tests and maintain Prism risk and control records • Facilitate Internal and External Audits and manage CBUAE audit submissions • Manage and respond to IFASC audit observations in PRISM • Maintain the Charity Manual and ensure compliant charity disbursement • Ensure Zakat calculations follow ISSC guidelines, obtain ISSC approval, and notify the Company Secretary • Support ISSC meeting preparation and action items • Manage training, research, and development in IFASC in line with CBUAE requirements and Islamic banking best practices • Coordinate learning needs assessments and execute Islamic banking and Shari’ah training plans • Report training progress across the Bank • Update training records in the Learning Management System and provide training MIS on demand • Collaborate with business groups, Audit, Compliance, group entities, CBUAE, ISSC, departmental heads, management, and division heads
• 10-12 years of experience in Governance, Operations, Audit or Compliance, preferably in Islamic Bank or Window, especially facing the Regulator • Should at least hold a bachelor’s degree/ Professional Qualification in Business/ Accounting • Understanding of AAOIFI Shari’ah Standards • AAOIFI CSAA (preferable) • Significant exposure to Shari’ah principles via studies, courses or extensive on-job learning • Strong communication and writing skills • Command of MS Office, especially PowerPoint
