📋 Description

• Leading the development of K-6 mathematics textbook content aligned to the Victorian Curriculum from planning through to completion • Overseeing content creation workflows and coordinating with internal team members • Conducting thorough reviews of all content to ensure rigorous alignment with Victorian Curriculum content descriptions, achievement standards, and proficiency strands • Providing specific, actionable feedback that enables the internal team to make precise edits and maintain world-class quality standards • Championing the use of AI tools throughout the content development process to maximise productivity and quality • Continuously improving team processes and workflows by identifying opportunities to integrate new AI capabilities • Ensuring consistency in pedagogical approach, mathematical rigour, and developmental progression across all materials

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience teaching primary mathematics (K-6) in Victorian schools • Deep understanding of the Victorian Curriculum: Mathematics, including content descriptions, achievement standards, and the proficiency strands (Understanding, Fluency, Problem Solving, Reasoning) • Familiarity with Victorian Curriculum 2.0 updates • Strong familiarity with current AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) and a genuine enthusiasm for using them to enhance productivity • Excellent attention to detail and ability to provide clear, specific feedback on content • Strong organisational and communication skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines • A collaborative and team-oriented approach • Nice to haves • Experience in project management, publishing, or educational content development • Familiarity with primary mathematics curricula in other Australian states (e.g. NSW Syllabus, Australian Curriculum) • Experience with digital learning platforms or ed-tech environments • Experience with LaTeX or mathematical typesetting • A basic understanding of coding
