📋 Description

• Responsible for field operations within an assigned territory (Southeast region). • Deliver effective presentations to individuals and groups using PowerPoint or other platforms. • Establish and maintain a strong network of contacts within the engineering community. • Identify, track, and influence plumbing projects to secure favorable specifications. • Build rapport with stakeholders via lunches, dinners, and occasional events. • Actively participate in ASPE Chapters and attend regional meetings. • Serve as subject matter expert on installation and product issues for soil pipe, couplings, and gaskets. • Educate engineers on CISPI logo specifications and promote domestic cast iron over plastics/imports. • Inform engineers and code officials about proper installation practices for plastics in fire-rated and underground construction. • Organize and conduct Lunch and Learn programs for ongoing education. • Maintain up-to-date list of key engineering firms and principal decision-makers in the region. • Call on plumbing engineers and other stakeholders to support business development efforts. • Report to and perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Technical Services.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, communications, or marketing, or equivalent experience. • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; comfortable speaking publicly to individuals and groups. • Must have and maintain an excellent driving record in accordance with the McWane company vehicle policy. • Must be able to travel overnight up to 70% of each week. • Strong time management skills and a high degree of initiative. • Basic knowledge of plumbing systems and products preferred. • Candidates residing in or near Southeast territory (FL, GA, NC, SC, AL, MS, TN, KY, OH, IN) will be considered more favorably.
