📋 Description

• Author, maintain, and version taxonomies, business term definitions, and classification hierarchies in the governance platform • Translate approved governance decisions into structured, testable data rules and apply rule IDs consistently across taxonomies • Analyze rule libraries to detect duplicates, conflicts, and coverage gaps, and prepare findings for governance review • Maintain metadata, documentation, and change history for traceable and auditable definitions and rules • Support intake and triage of new rule and definition requests from Data Operations and business stakeholders • Prepare reference data and golden-record candidates for governance certification, flagging anomalies and exceptions • Produce documentation and quick-reference guides for stewards and analysts • Assist with governance reporting, dashboards, and stakeholder updates • Operationalize governance standards in classification and data quality workflows

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in data governance, data management, data quality, analytics, or data operations • Hands-on experience maintaining taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, business glossaries, or rule libraries • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured data, spreadsheets, and governance tooling • Ability to translate governance decisions into precise, consistent, testable rules • Comfort with ambiguity and evolving standards in a maturing governance environment • Familiarity with data quality dimensions: accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness • Exposure to DAMA / DMBOK concepts is a plus • Clear written and verbal communication skills
