• Member Advocates are the primary source of information for members, pharmacies, and physicians via phone, email, and chat. • Provide information and resolve member, pharmacy, and physician inquiries. • Research and resolve claim processing and eligibility issues. • Serve as an intermediary between healthcare organizations and members in facilitating patient care. • Compile and record information and correspondence related to member needs or requirements. • Document engagement outcomes and steps taken with clarity and concision. • Think quickly on one’s feet while navigating multiple systems to effectively engage with members. • Work collaboratively and cooperatively with other departments to resolve issues and improve the member, physician, and pharmacy experience. • Effectively work through difficult conversations with members while maintaining composure, showing empathy, and displaying active listening skills.
• An active CPhT (Pharmacy Tech Certification) is highly encouraged but not required. • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products. • Willingness to obtain certification as a pharmacy technician within one year of hire. • Excellent customer service and teamwork skills. • Flexibility with scheduling, including rotating Saturdays and evening shifts. • Reliability and punctuality. • Spanish speaking abilities are highly valued for this role.
