📋 Description

• Formulate and review corporate short- and long-range plans, goals, and objectives for a specific product or product line • Conduct competitive product analysis and market research of consumer behavior and professional audiences • Determine the profitability and viability of new products or product enhancements • Develop production and marketing strategies and tactics for effective product placement throughout the product life cycle • Work closely with product development on a specific product, brand, or product area • Work with other functions to finalize product specifications • Provide advertising with core brand equity • Serve as a technical adviser, demonstrating products and troubleshooting product issues • Manage a large team of experienced professionals and managers • Develop, communicate, and implement business plans to achieve business results • Initiate programs or projects based on business and tactical needs • Manage budget or P&L accountability for a department, function, or geography • Communicate with internal and external customers and vendors • Influence across functions and businesses to gain cooperation • Mentor, develop, and coach staff • Set performance goals, conduct performance reviews, and hold staff 1:1s • Authorize hiring, firing, promotion, and rewards within the area

🎯 Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience • For degrees earned outside the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) • Broad management knowledge to lead project teams in one department • Mastery-level knowledge and skills in a specific technical or professional discipline • Broad understanding of other areas within the job function • Experience in sales of capital equipment or management of this portfolio • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment for roles below Principal level • Nice to have experience in Orthopedia portfolio
