📋 Description

• Lead the delivery of high-quality research to inform organisational strategy within and outside Meliore • Lead and develop a programme of proactive audience research, especially polling, of strategic interest to the progressive campaigning ecosystem, donors and other stakeholders • Lead communication of research with interested parties • Share proactive and reactive audience research through webinars, presentations and training programmes • Help teams across the Meliore network translate quantitative and qualitative research into actionable insights for strategy and communications • Promote effective use of audience insights across the organisation among senior stakeholders • Share lessons, identify trends and build colleagues’ understanding of public opinion and audience behaviour • Report to the Audience Insight Director • Perform other duties assigned from time to time

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience in audience research, especially polling, including segmentation, message testing and survey writing • Strong demonstrable experience proactively developing research that influences opinion formers and communications professionals • Strong demonstrable ability to communicate research findings clearly to non-specialist audiences • Experience communicating research to people who have English as a second language is an asset, not essential • Some experience translating audience research insights into practical campaign strategy advice • Comfortable working remotely and across different time zones • Fluency in written and spoken English • Experience polling in election campaigns is an asset • Experience working on communications or campaign strategies is an asset • Additional languages are an asset • Candidates must have the right to work in their location • CV and cover letter required; applications submitting only a CV will not be considered
