📋 Description

• Responsible for advancing the functionality and operational efficiency of Information Systems utilizing their expertise in Epic Applications. • Intermediate to advanced analysis, design, configuration and implementation. • Ensuring operational efficiency of assigned Epic applications and integrated technology. • Provides advanced ongoing analysis, consultation, complex problem-solving, collaboration and application support to users. • Responsible for contributing to system training. • Support and optimize Memorial Hermann’s Epic ASAP application. • Configuration, maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, optimization, and implementation of new features. • Provide expert-level support for complex issues.

🎯 Requirements

• Epic ASAP Certification (strongly preferred) • Epic Clinical Documentation or Ambulatory Certification also considered • Experience supporting Epic applications, preferably within Emergency Department workflows • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills • Demonstrated accountability, ownership, and initiative • Collaborative team player with strong communication skills • Experience with Epic upgrades, optimization, and enhancement projects • Ability to support on-call rotations and manage competing priorities effectively • Education: Associates degree, preferred • Licenses/Certifications: Epic Certification required • Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in a large, corporate systems development and implementation activities in a wide variety of Healthcare Information Systems (MIS) or similar experience in system analysis, design, building, testing and implementation or a combination of MIS and working knowledge of hospital operations required • Previous Epic or other Health Information Systems experience required • Experience in supporting complex problems • Experience in assisting other Analysts • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Epic application support, development tools and methodologies • Good analytical skills and technical aptitude • Good planning and organizational skills • Good communication, collaboration and customer service skills • Demonstrated pattern of growth in ability to lead others.
