📋 Description

• Analyze customer requirements for software components, system availability, security, and performance • Design and document complete cloud hosting systems, including capacity planning, instance type selection and allocation, and network design • Estimate costs of recommended system designs • Build systems through installation, configuration, and testing of cloud resources • Use automation and configuration management to ensure repeatability and traceability of changes • Troubleshoot system hardware, software, networks, and operating systems • Protect system integrity and security using controls and monitoring tools • Provide written evaluations and recommendations for ongoing improvement • Maintain system performance through monitoring, analysis, performance tuning, and future-growth planning • Design and run load and stress tests • Document test outcomes, debug infrastructure issues, and escalate application problems to the development team • Maintain internal systems and customer deployment documentation • Partner with project managers, technical consultants, software architects, and developers to validate infrastructure deliverables and document technical hand-offs • Respond to support tickets and incidents according to SLA commitments • Define best practices, operational policies, and procedures • Establish, document, and test disaster recovery procedures • Update job knowledge through educational opportunities, professional publications, personal networks, and professional organizations

🎯 Requirements

• Residing in Brazil • No visa sponsorship available • Resume in English as a PDF • Advanced to fluent English communication skills • 4+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) • Additional experience with other cloud providers is a bonus • Experience with Linux and/or Windows systems administration; at least one required • Scripting: bash shell and Python preferred; PowerShell acceptable • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and HTTP protocols • Experience with web accelerators, load balancers, reverse proxies, and CDNs • Ability to read and agree to the Corporate Values Statement • Belief in the company's mission to help people • Problem-solving ability and willingness to work in an agile/fast-paced environment • Customer-oriented with good communication skills • Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation • AWS Certifications or willingness to get certified is nice to have • Interest in Generative AI technologies is nice to have
