📋 Description
• Lead a team of software engineers to implement high-quality technology solutions • Manage resource allocation through accurate estimation and meet utilization targets • Ensure adherence to time logging standards • Proactively unblock engineers and escalate technical issues to the Head of Engineering • Report ticket estimate overages to the Project Manager and Head of Engineering • Maintain certification milestones and dates for all team members • Ensure compliance with quality and security standards • Manage work-in-progress cycle times, code reviews, and QA timelines • Delegate tasks using the 5 Levels of Leadership and Manager Tools best practices • Participate in hiring using the WHO method • Support project success and retention of engineering talent
🎯 Requirements
• Agree with the Corporate Values Statement • Believe in the company's mission to help people • Believe in open-source principles • Advanced to fluent English communication skills • 8+ years of experience as a Tech Leader • Proven ability to lead a team of software engineers • Experience in technical estimation and resource allocation • Expertise in engineering quality and security standards • Proven ability to create quality software with zero major defects and/or bugs released • Familiarity with the WHO method for hiring and talent acquisition • Knowledge of Manager Tools best practices for team retention • Ability to implement delegation according to the 5 Levels of Leadership • Commitment to ongoing role certification and professional development • Ability to maintain rapid communication and meet strict cycle-time targets • Must reside in Brazil • Resume must be submitted in English as a PDF • Unable to sponsor any type of visa
