📋 Description

• Development and preparation of feasibility studies, conceptual designs, basic and detailed engineering for water supply systems and sewage or effluent collection, conveyance and treatment systems, including: intakes, transmission mains, pump stations, force mains, water treatment plants, reservoirs, water distribution networks, booster or network pressure-boosting stations, sewer collection networks, interceptors, outfalls, and sewage treatment plants. • Preparation of diagnostic reports, calculation memoranda, descriptive reports, bills of materials, and technical specifications. • Preparation of technical packages for contracting construction works and quantity takeoffs. • Proposing technical solutions to sanitation problems, including improvements and optimizations. Monitoring and reviewing designs in partnership with discipline designers and other project teams. • Meetings with clients, suppliers and members of other disciplines to understand issues and propose solutions, optimizations and design improvements. • Field/site visits as required.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Civil, Environmental, Sanitary or Mechanical Engineering. • Knowledge of BIM methodology and tools: Civil 3D, Revit, Plant, Navisworks. • Specialization in the field. • Knowledge and experience in hydraulic modeling of water and sewer networks, using OpenFlows (WaterCAD, WaterGEMS), EPANET or other software. • Knowledge of hydraulic transients and surge analysis software: HAMMER. • Knowledge of georeferencing/GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS, Signos, etc.). • Knowledge of treatment processes. • Knowledge of stormwater drainage, roadway drainage, and earthworks/soil movement.
