📋 Description

• Maintenance and further development of our virtualized, hybrid server and cloud infrastructure • Ensuring that our services run optimally on modern Windows Server versions as well as Linux • Configuration and maintenance of our client/server networks, storage systems and other essential services • Point of contact for in-house support of our colleagues at microtech • Handling requests via our IT service desk and resolving technical issues via video conference and remote support software or on-site

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive knowledge in the administration of Microsoft Windows Servers (Windows Server 2016–2025) and related infrastructure such as Active Directory, Exchange, RADIUS, DNS and more • Experience in administering Linux servers (Ubuntu LTS, SSH, bash) • Knowledge of client operating systems (Windows 11) and Microsoft client applications • Practical experience with (Docker) containers and Kubernetes (RKE2, KubeOne), as well as general cloud and server hosting • Expertise in hybrid cloud infrastructure such as Azure / Entra, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams including Teams telephony • Practical knowledge of network infrastructure (switches, SAN, network segmentation via VLAN) and firewalls (Sophos XG, multi-WAN, site-to-site VPN) • Proficient with virtualization technologies, e.g., VMware ESXi or Proxmox • Hands-on mentality • Drive for independent, performance-oriented work, strong communication skills and the ability to resolve problems sustainably in the customer's interest
