📋 Description

• Partner with IT and internal teams to support, design, implement, and maintain SAP systems across MKS's global SAP landscape. • Report to the SAP Basis Manager. • Partner with peers across the IT organization to solve complex business problems and lead development of high-level solution options and technical approaches. • Lead technical initiatives such as infrastructure refreshes, data center migrations, and disaster recovery solutions. • Develop SAP infrastructure and application project plans and ensure delivery of technical milestones established by application delivery managers. • Evaluate and recommend SAP technologies and related products. • Troubleshoot and resolve significant system issues, including performance bottlenecks and stability concerns. • Balance architecture and project activities (approximately 80%) with operational support activities (approximately 20%). • Manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Potentially lead offshore technical teams and third-party service providers. • Participate in after-hours maintenance activities, system upgrades, production support events, and on-call rotations for critical SAP production environments.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. • 8+ years of SAP Basis administration and architecture experience in complex enterprise environments. • Extensive experience with SAP ERP, SAP APO, SAP Fiori, SAP GRC, SAP Portal, SAP BW, SAP PO, SAP SSO Server, and SAP Web Dispatcher. • Strong experience with Linux and Windows operating systems and Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, SAP HANA, and MaxDB databases supporting SAP applications. • Proven experience performing SAP version upgrades and support package upgrades. • Hands-on experience with SAP security and authentication technologies including SSO, SNC, SAML, multi-factor authentication, and load balancing. • Experience managing SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), and SAP IBP. • Ability to work in an office or remote environment using standard computer equipment. • Ability to sit for extended periods while performing technical and analytical work. • May require participation in on-call support rotations for critical SAP production environments. • Applicants for positions involving controlled goods and technologies may be subject to export-control restrictions based on citizenship, country of origin, or immigration status. • Background checks and drug screens conducted in accordance with applicable law and company policies.
