📋 Description

• Own and lead a major legal function or domain (e.g., commercial, product, regulatory). • Structure and negotiate highly complex, high-value transactions and partnerships. • Provide strategic legal guidance to senior business leaders. • Develop scalable legal processes, frameworks, and systems. • Drive cross-functional alignment across key stakeholders. • Lead major initiatives and support enterprise projects. • Mentor attorneys and contribute to team capability development.

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor, Law • 9–13+ years of progressively responsible legal experience. • Significant in-house legal experience within a SaaS, healthcare technology, or other regulated industry environment. • Demonstrated experience owning a legal function, domain, or major area of responsibility (e.g., commercial contracting, product counseling, privacy, regulatory). • Proven track record of leading complex, high-value commercial transactions (e.g., SaaS agreements, strategic partnerships, data-sharing arrangements). • Experience advising senior business leaders (Director/VP level and above) on legal, regulatory, and operational risks. • Demonstrated ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical, business-oriented solutions. • Experience developing and implementing legal processes, playbooks, and frameworks to improve scalability and efficiency. • Strong cross-functional experience partnering with Product, Compliance, Security, Finance, and Operations teams. • Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving legal and regulatory requirements. • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks (healthcare, data privacy, or SaaS-related). • Ability to design and implement scalable legal frameworks, templates, and processes. • Strong issue-spotting and risk assessment capabilities across legal domains. • Strong business acumen with the ability to align legal guidance to company objectives. • Ability to balance risk mitigation with growth enablement. • Experience influencing strategic decision-making at senior leadership levels. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, actionable guidance for non-legal audiences. • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management.
