📋 Description

• Monitor and manage operating system-level alerts • Perform advanced troubleshooting on Linux and Windows servers • Diagnose CPU, memory, I/O, and performance degradation issues • Analyze system logs and critical services • Resolve complex incidents and perform immediate mitigation for critical incidents • Manage service recovery and controlled restarts • Validate connectivity between systems • Execute changes under the ITIL framework • Participate in patching, updating, and hardening processes • Operate virtualized environments • Produce structured technical analyses and document runbooks • Identify opportunities for improvement • Automate tasks • Collaborate with infrastructure teams • Perform other routine activities related to the role • Work from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., including weekend and holiday shifts

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in IT operations • Strong experience with Linux and Windows in production environments • Experience with advanced troubleshooting in critical environments • Experience working in 24x7 critical environments • Experience with virtualization and operational maintenance • Experience with patching and stability processes • Advanced knowledge of Linux, including performance diagnostics, log analysis, service troubleshooting, filesystem management, and networking • Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, including administration, troubleshooting, Performance Monitor, Event Viewer, Windows services, IIS, and PowerShell • Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent platforms • Knowledge of patching, hardening, and OS hygiene • Knowledge of networking, including DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, and connectivity diagnostics • Knowledge of observability tools, including Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK • Knowledge of Bash and PowerShell for automation, diagnostics, and remediation • Knowledge of ServiceNow or a similar tool • Knowledge of ITIL, including incident, problem, and change management • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • Intermediate or advanced Spanish proficiency for conversation • Intermediate or advanced English proficiency for conversation • Preferred: knowledge of AWS, Azure, or OpenShift (OCP) • Preferred: certifications such as Red Hat (RHCSA/RHCE), Microsoft, Windows Server or Azure, VMware/Hyper-V, ITIL Foundation, and observability certifications
