📋 Description

• Assist in preparing and executing manual test cases based on business and functional requirements • Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing • Report, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools • Support automation testing initiatives using Java, JavaScript, and BDD frameworks • Contribute to test data preparation and test environment validation • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA engineers to understand application functionality and quality expectations • Apply quality engineering best practices, including test planning, defect management, and test documentation • Gain exposure to CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and modern software development workflows • Use AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude to improve productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance test development

🎯 Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field • Strong understanding of Software Testing fundamentals and SDLC/STLC concepts • Basic knowledge of Java or JavaScript programming • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Eagerness to learn automation testing and quality engineering practices • Exposure to Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation tools • Basic understanding of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber • Familiarity with Git/GitHub • Knowledge of REST API testing using Postman or similar tools • Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts • Awareness of AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude • Personal automation projects or GitHub portfolio • Participation in hackathons or coding competitions • Relevant certifications in Software Testing or Automation
