📋 Description

• Administer and maintain Linux servers in production environments • Troubleshoot operating systems, networks, applications, and infrastructure • Automate administrative tasks using Bash, Python, Ansible, or similar tools • Manage services, processes, users, permissions, disks, filesystems, logs, and operating system resources • Perform updates, apply patches, and harden Linux servers • Administer services and applications running in Docker and Kubernetes • Support the administration and evolution of Kubernetes environments, preferably AKS • Create and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps • Administer infrastructure resources in Microsoft Azure • Configure and maintain web servers and proxies such as Nginx and Apache • Support the configuration of DNS, SSL/TLS certificates, networks, firewalls, and load balancers • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, or similar tools • Investigate production incidents and support root-cause analysis • Document configurations, technical procedures, and runbooks • Work closely with development teams to deploy and support applications • Produce the software deliverables expected from the Squad

🎯 Requirements

• Completed higher education (undergraduate degree and/or lato sensu or stricto sensu postgraduate degree) in Information Technology • Solid experience administering Linux servers in production • Advanced knowledge of Linux and the command line • Experience troubleshooting CPU, memory, disk, filesystem, processes, and connectivity issues • Knowledge of service management with systemd • Experience analyzing logs using tools such as journalctl • Experience with Bash and Shell scripting • Knowledge of networks and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and SSH • Experience administering Nginx and/or Apache • Knowledge of Linux users, groups, permissions, ACLs, and security • Experience with Docker • Experience with Kubernetes • Experience with Terraform or another Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines • Experience with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure • Experience troubleshooting and resolving incidents in production environments • Preferred knowledge: AKS, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Ansible, Helm, Argo CD, GitOps, Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Python, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, storage, Azure Key Vault, hardening, vulnerabilities, patching, backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and load balancing • Additional advantages: experience in mission-critical or high-traffic environments; infrastructure for open-source applications; Kubernetes in production; Linux automation at scale; DevSecOps; observability; SRE; Azure Networking; Microsoft Azure, Linux, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications
