📋 Description

• Help guide architectural decisions through public RFCs and issues • Contribute to deep refactors and feature releases in a complex codebase • Reduce user friction through API design, bug fixing, error messages, documentation, and blog posts • Collaborate with and inspire the open-source community through issue and pull-request reviews • Experiment with new features and methods for solving complex problems • Own features from idea or mockup through live deployment • Iterate and ship frequently to deliver user value • Interact with users regularly by handling inbound support and feature requests • Build new features and help grow adoption of MUI X Charts

🎯 Requirements

• IC4 or above level • Expertise in the modern JavaScript ecosystem, including ES2021, TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, Webpack, and Babel • Track record of demonstrating product judgment and solving real-world user problems • Experience building and shipping production code in a team setting • Passion for writing tested, performant, high-quality code • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to dive into and understand complex codebase problems • Willingness to ask and answer questions and continuously learn • Experience or interest in drawing technologies, including SVG and canvas • Ability to scope and stage work into well-defined milestones • Past work with front-end infrastructure, such as design systems, Babel plugins, or complex React components • Experience with charts, design systems, active repositories, or contributions to MUI open-source projects are nice to have but not required
