📋 Description

• Design and implement enterprise data solutions using Databricks • Lead end-to-end Databricks projects, including migrations from legacy platforms • Design and optimize Apache Spark solutions with a focus on performance and scalability • Work closely with Databricks Professional Services teams and clients to define and deliver technical solutions • Implement CI/CD practices and Databricks Asset Bundles (DABs) • Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and provide scalable, high-quality solutions • Contribute to Data Engineering, Lakehouse, and data platform modernization initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Platforms, or Analytics • 10+ years of total professional experience • Proven experience delivering 4–6+ end-to-end Databricks projects in production • Mandatory Databricks Certification; Databricks Associate is the minimum requirement • Professional Databricks certification strongly preferred • Strong hands-on expertise with Apache Spark, including internals, window functions, aggregations, and clustering • Proven experience with legacy-to-Databricks migrations • Deep expertise in at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP • Hands-on experience with CI/CD and Databricks Asset Bundles (DABs) • Strong knowledge of Databricks performance tuning and scalability • Knowledge of GenAI, RAG, Databricks Genie, or Databricks Apps is a plus • English proficiency • Availability to work with US time zone overlap
