📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate high-throughput, low-latency backend services for ad delivery and analytics • Own queue-driven workloads using Celery/Redis/DragonflyDB, including throughput, retries, back-pressure, and idempotency • Optimize performance end-to-end across CPU/memory, networking, asyncio/concurrency, caching, and schema/indexing • Productionize services on AWS using EC2, S3, RDS, ClickHouse, ALB/NLB, IAM, and Elasticsearch • Implement observability through metrics, tracing, structured logs, SLOs, and alerts • Collaborate with product and analytics teams to ship features quickly • Run load tests and capacity plans for peak QPS • Harden systems for resiliency, cost, and security through least-privilege IAM, secrets management, and threat modeling

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building production backend systems in Python (Go is optional) • Strong AWS experience running scalable, reliable services • Proven track record optimizing servers for high load/low latency • Deep hands-on experience with Celery or similar queues, task orchestration, and distributed systems fundamentals • Comfortable with Bash, Linux networking, and performance debugging using perf, eBPF, and flame graphs • Solid JavaScript/Web fundamentals, including HTTP, TLS, CORS, cookies, caching, and CDNs • SQL/NoSQL experience and data modeling for large-scale reads/writes • Great communication, team player, fast learner, proactive, and willing to work hard to hit goals • At least an upper-intermediate level of English • RTB/OpenRTB, VAST/VMAP, header bidding, or DSP/SSP integrations would be a plus • Redis/DragonflyDB tuning, Kafka/Kinesis, ClickHouse/Redshift, or Airflow would be a plus • Docker/K8s, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, zero-downtime deployments, and canary/blue-green deployments would be a plus • Security/compliance in ad systems, including PII, consent/TCF, would be a plus • Elasticsearch/Kibana experience would be a plus
