📋 Description

• Manage accurate and timely creation and submission of secondary claims • Execute daily payment posting and reconcile payments, adjustments, and denials from insurance payers and patients • Perform eligibility of benefits verifications before appointments • Generate, review, and process patient invoices • Assist patients and caregivers with billing and out-of-pocket cost inquiries • Collaborate with intake, front desk, and clinical teams to maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information • Handle billing inquiries and resolve disputes or claim denials quickly and empathetically • Support the clinic’s revenue cycle and financial operations

🎯 Requirements

• 2–3+ years of experience in medical billing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare financial services • Expertise in payment posting, secondary claim submission, and verifying eligibility of benefits • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex billing and insurance concepts clearly and empathetically to older adults • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple financial priorities with a high degree of accuracy • Familiarity with medical billing software, clearinghouses, EMRs, and collaboration tools such as Google Workspace • Reliable high-speed internet connection • Availability to work U.S. business hours (Eastern Time)
