📋 Description
• Provide planning, coordination, and analytical support for Belize conservation programs and operational activities • Organize meetings and events, schedule activities, record minutes, and collate decisions and supporting documents • Maintain document management systems, electronic shared files, and folders • Support procurement, internal contractual processes, vendor payments, expense tracking, and budget monitoring • Coordinate programmatic reports and updates for conservation hubs and leadership teams • Collect, validate, analyze, organize, and report project data, indicators, metrics, targets, baselines, and methodologies • Support monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities and synthesize program data into technical, donor, and internal reports • Support conservation management system tools across programs • Assist with development of reports, communication materials, and program correspondence • Provide stakeholder engagement support and respond to inquiries about program activities • Document workflows, procedures, and best practices • Coordinate multiple tasks and projects while ensuring timely documentation and compliance • Maintain frequent interaction with program staff, other Conservancy offices, and external vendors • Report to the Belize Portfolio Management Officer • May oversee volunteers or interns, but does not supervise staff
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or a related field, or two years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • 2–4 years of related work experience desired • Experience with Microsoft Office suite • Experience coordinating multiple projects and planning or organizing agendas and events • Experience in report writing, editing, and proofreading • Experience handling standard business communications • Valid driver’s license required • Ability to complete tasks independently within assigned time frames • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently • Ability to coordinate project information from multiple sources to populate databases, create reports, and produce manual or digital files • Experience utilizing databases for data entry and report production preferred • Strong attention to detail and numerical ability • Ability to plan, administer, and record results of work-team meetings and activities • Technologically savvy • Experience developing and implementing MEL frameworks desired • Business qualifications supplemented by relevant conservation experience are an asset • Compliance with TNC’s Auto Safety Program and completion of a Vehicle Use Agreement, potentially including a motor vehicle record review
