📋 Description

• Provide routine finance and accounting support for a department or business unit • Process vendor invoices, payments, employee reimbursements, and other routine accounting transactions • Prepare and post routine journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records • Verify transaction coding, supporting documentation, and compliance with established policies and procedures • Perform account reconciliations and support month-end and year-end close activities • Maintain financial records, vendor files, and supporting documentation according to retention requirements • Support audits, reporting activities, and compliance reviews by providing requested documentation and information • Assist with financial data validation and accounting, controlling, and compliance activities • Follow the Code of Conduct and consistently demonstrate organizational values • Support the Argentina and Chile business units

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree in accounting or related field and 2 years' related work experience or equivalent combination • Experience using automated accounting systems • Experience working with basic principles in accounting or in analyzing financial figures • Experience in database management or producing reports, or in the use of automated systems and Microsoft Office tools • Bi-lingual Spanish/English abilities are preferred • At least a working level of reading and writing in English is needed • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work product • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines • Successful completion of The Nature Conservancy's background screening process
