📋 Description

• Develop the marketplace strategy across channels, countries, and products. • Own revenue, contribution margin, and advertising budgets across all marketplaces. • Further develop Amazon, Otto, and Decathlon, while expanding into new marketplaces and countries. • Lead and grow the Marketplace team. • Collaborate with Content, Design, Product Development, and Logistics. • Ensure listings, launches, and inventory align with the strategy. • Help plan product launches and marketplace expansion. • Serve as the point of contact for Amazon, Otto, Decathlon, agencies, and service providers. • Negotiate commercial terms. • Report directly to the Founder and CEO.

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in marketplace business, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. • Experience in an e-commerce startup or scale-up with revenues in the eight-figure range or higher. • Proven track record of developing a marketplace business. • Deep Amazon expertise: Seller Central, Advertising, Brand Registry, and Pan-EU. • Knowledge of Otto and Decathlon as marketplaces; experience working with them is preferred. • Experience with international expansion. • Strong understanding of numbers, including margin, contribution margin, and inventory turnover. • Leadership experience, ideally including managing remote teams. • Experience in the consumer goods sector; sports or fitness experience is a plus. • Excellent German and fluent, negotiation-level English.
