• Provide technical sales support for AMR/AMI projects • Support includes pre-sale presentations, assistance during deployment of infrastructure and system implementation, and Tier 2 level support during post-deployment contract period • Coordinate efforts with system deployment, customer support, sales, distributors, third party contractors, engineering, and operations to successfully support AMR/AMI systems • Must comply with technical requirements and meet customer expectations • Pre-sale support to sales team. Assist sales team by providing technical support at customer presentations and planning meetings. Provide technical review of RFP/Bid specifications and assist with proposal development • Assist system deployment team as necessary with site surveys and frequency analysis studies to ensure suitability of proposed collector locations and available frequencies. Support identification of alternate locations and frequencies if necessary • Conduct and support on-site system configuration, customer implementation and training as necessary. Provide Tier 2 level of technical support to customers and customer support • Support marketing as required including RFP responses, documentation/manuals and presentations
• Bachelor of Science degree (Management Information Systems degree or similar technical field preferred) • 2+ years’ experience supporting AMR/AMI systems • Software implementations background a plus
