📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement a scalable test automation framework and strategy using Selenium WebDriver • Create test strategies, test plans, and test cases for projects managed through Agile development methodology • Develop and maintain methods and libraries to rapidly grow and scale the automation suite • Develop scripts for web services and REST services • Develop automation scripts for web applications and web services • Contribute to a test automation framework using Java, Selenium, WebDriver, and SQL • Address complex testing challenges and accelerate the regression test process • Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects • Collaborate with software developers and QA analysts to develop effective testing strategies • Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability and quality risks • Report and document bugs and track their resolution • Work as a manual tester when required

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience writing web automation scripts using Java, Selenium, BDD, and Cucumber • Pega application testing experience • Strong knowledge and working experience in Java programming, including OOP concepts, collections, JDBC, I/O, and Java utilities • Experience working with JSON and XML • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services • Experience testing complex applications with third-party integrations and APIs • Strong object-oriented programming, coding, and debugging skills • Knowledge of software design principles, patterns, algorithms, data structures, and multithreading concepts • Knowledge of a relational database such as MySQL or Oracle; ability to frame and execute queries • Experience working within a microservice environment • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test integration • Understanding of mult tier architecture applications and API testing in such environments • Passion for quality assurance • Capacity to learn new processes and technologies • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills • Good written and verbal communication skills • Knowledge of RestAssured or API testing is an advantage • Knowledge of security testing for APIs • Experience with microservices architecture • Prior experience testing a CRM tool such as Pega • Proficiency in additional programming languages such as Python or JavaScript • Understanding of Azure DevOps practices
