📋 Description

• Perform and review bank reconciliations across all entities (UK, France, Ireland, UAE) • Support and execute month-end close processes and financial reporting preparation • Reconcile booking income received against booking platform payouts • Prepare and post journals, accruals, and adjustments • Review and manage creditor and debtor balances • Monitor and investigate variances and discrepancies • Support VAT and tax-related reporting where required • Maintain accurate landlord statements and financial records • Respond to landlord and internal financial queries accurately and professionally • Maintain strong financial controls and data integrity within Xero • Provide guidance and quality control on work completed by junior finance team members where applicable

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant, hands-on accounting experience • Strong experience in full-cycle accounting and reconciliations • Solid practical experience with VAT, profit and loss, balance sheet control accounts, creditors, and debtors • Proven experience using accounting software, ideally Xero • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets • High level of accuracy and attention to detail • Strong organisational and time management skills • Ability to work independently and take ownership of financial deliverables • Experience working with multiple entities or international markets is a strong advantage • Formal accounting qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not required
