📋 Description

• Architect production-scale TypeScript monorepos using Nx or Turborepo • Design Next.js and Node.js services • Model PostgreSQL data, including financial or ledger-style data with transactional integrity, auditability, and state machines • Design security and compliance into the architecture, including RBAC/MFA, immutable audit trails, and data residency/segregation • Translate SOC 2 Type II, EU Data Act, or comparable regulatory requirements into architectural decisions • Design data isolation and segregation architectures combining sensitive persisted data with AI or third-party processing • Collaborate with security-focused product and compliance functions from the Discovery phase where applicable • Work on challenging FinTech, B2B software, and e-commerce products

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience architecting TypeScript monorepos (Nx or Turborepo) at production scale • Deep experience with Next.js and Node.js service design • Strong PostgreSQL data modeling experience, ideally with financial or ledger-style data (transactional integrity, auditability, state machines) • Hands-on experience designing security and compliance into an architecture — RBAC/MFA, immutable audit trails, data residency/segregation • Working familiarity with SOC 2 Type II and/or the EU Data Act (or comparable regulatory frameworks), with the ability to translate compliance requirements into concrete architectural decisions • Demonstrated ability to design data isolation/segregation architectures for systems that combine sensitive persisted data with AI or third-party processing • Prior architecture experience in fintech or another regulated domain (healthtech, insurtech, etc.) — nice to have • Cloud-agnostic Infrastructure-as-Code fluency (Terraform or similar) — nice to have • Experience working alongside a security-focused PM or compliance function from the Discovery phase onward — nice to have
