📋 Description

• Own quality end-to-end from story acceptance criteria through production health monitoring • Build, maintain, and execute automated test frameworks and regression suites across UI, API, and service layers • Test and validate internally built LLMs and external AI tools and services • Own test planning, execution, and release support from story validation to production deployment • Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Product Design to refine ambiguous requirements into testable acceptance criteria • Advocate for quality, provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and pair with mid-level quality engineers • Establish defect tracking, triage, and communication best practices • Use AI tooling for issue detection, reproduction, and resolution • Surface release risks and defect trends to stakeholders and support production escalations

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software testing and QA experience in an Agile Scrum environment • 5+ years building test frameworks with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python • Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO or Playwright • Experience with manual, exploratory, regression, integration, API/services, and database testing • Understanding of Git branching strategies, pull request workflows, and incremental CI/CD deployment pipelines • Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot in daily workflow • Ability to participate actively in Scrum ceremonies, communicate release risks and defect trends, and support production escalations • Industry experience in EdTech, SaaS/B2B software, or e-learning/online education platforms • Experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, or Selenium for E2E browser automation • Experience with Jest, Vitest, or Mocha for unit/integration testing • Experience with k6, JMeter, or Locust • Experience with GitHub Actions and AWS • Experience with Datadog, Sentry, or New Relic for logs/error tracking • Experience with TestRail, Jira, Xray, or Zephyr for test management • Successful completion of a background check as part of the pre-employment process • Preferred: experience testing AI-driven features, LLM outputs, or ML-backed services • Preferred: familiarity with performance and accessibility testing • Preferred: experience with AWS, GCP, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI • Preferred: prior background in EdTech or consumer-facing SaaS products
