• Responsible for the Eastern Sales Region at New Wave Design. • Develop and execute regional and account growth strategies. • Develop customer technical design leads and manage the sales functions within the eastern sales region. • Define and lead the capture strategy and sign channel partners. • Collaborate with other department heads and corporate leadership to ensure customer satisfaction. • Manage sales and opportunity pipeline, including expected bookings and forecasted revenue. • Recommend and implement an annual regional sales and account growth strategy. • Participate in the strategic business planning and budgeting process.
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Business Administration or equivalent trade school diploma with 7+ years of experience preferred. • 10+ years of experience in a professional sales environment selling component or board-level products directly into system-level electronic companies. • Technical knowledge of embedded computing and sensor data processing is a plus. • Education or experience in engineering, science, or technology is beneficial. • Willingness to travel within the sales region, travel expected to be <50%. • Candidate is ideally located within the western region of the United States. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Excellent organizational and opportunity prioritization skills. • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to forecast and plan over a one to two-year time span to set and meet long-term sales goals. • Computer proficiency in MS Office and other computer tools. • Familiarity with CRM sales opportunity management programs such as Salesforce.
